What I like most about Kitae and Jangmis final decision to be married is that they acknowledge that happily ever after is but a fantasymarriages go bad spouses cheat love cools. Jangmi argues that the forecast predicted it would clear up and the bride gets her way so the umbrellas come down. Nevertheless i want to love you forever. one of the few dramas where the good guy got the girl and the jerk lost out but having the male lead being so passive and weak against the female lead started irratating me that i didnt know if i wanted him with her anymore because she would jus run him over if they were to get together. Dad asks haltingly if he can stay with her but Mom is stubborn and tries to give the bankbook back
Han Groo is fabulous and wonderful and I hope she will come back to dramas at some point. And what a waste it would have been if I had missed it. Usually guests wait until after they get some alcohol in their system before they create a scene at your wedding but nope this was all sober. Kitae turns and walks away leaving Jangmi alone at the altar. I needed something breezy and funstumbled into this and it made me so happy. Mom shakes him off saying thats what Kitae wanted but turns back to throw him a pity invite. And what a waste it would have been if I had missed it. I might drop it for a while soon since Im not overly taken with any of the couples at the moment. This series is a standout among romcoms for its fresh take on contemporary romance its flawed characters who were allowed to remain flawed and the lovely sense of humor that the writer and director sharedthere was a cohesion in the writing and directing that was palpable in that we were made to feel all of the right beats in all the right ways which is actually rare. But Kitae has the unenviable job of bursting Jangmis bubble by telling her of her mothers breast cancer and she listens in teary silence as she thinks to herself how life is full of surprises and the worst always comes along with the best. They know firsthand just how badly marriages can go but even so theyre still willing to give it a try and try their best to love and support each other despite whatever twists life may throw at them. She was still controlling but maybe focused on another target first it was to get Kitae back then it was to make Kitaes life perfect. Everyone has a different connection and they arent bonded as a group but more so individually. They belong together. Kitae just says that life is uncertain and full of twists and you never know what may happen and theres no such thing as complete assurance that marriage will last but nevertheless he wants to marry her and love her forever. Jang Mi and Ki Tae were so realistic even while everyone else around them was unrealistic

I always love fake to real theme love story but i dont like this story it just feel too ridiculous for me and i dont feel it when they realize their love for each other

Nobody had to have a personality transplant in order for someone to love them yes they all changed some but they just became better versions of themselves. i just really admire han groo in every way possible and i wish her great success for schaumburg hook up her future. Even if youre not big on sageuks I think youd likely be able to enjoy this one. all his scenes had me laughing jus wish he had a bigger role in the finale. I disliked Ki Taes ex and her story arc really strongly. This was such an unexpectedly heartfelt drama that I will miss. This drama made me Over 35 dating london laugh even cry a little and made me care for many of the characters. Instead Ill just say the reason I love dating sites b2 them so much is because Yeon Woojin and Han Groo are just so good at portraying them. Loved that like the wedding in Savvy we had another wedding very much fitting with the couple. It felt soooo sooooo uninspired and cliched. Everyone felt organic rather than puppets controlled by a master. I love how all three of the womens faces are like So what jerkface. Anyway sad to see it come to an end
